Akal has studied with shamans around the world - Cree Elders in Canada, Curanderos in Costa Rica, Ayahusqueros in Peru and many Multi Dimensional Wisdom Keepers in Sedona. He was a student of Osha and studied White Tantra and Kundalini Yoga with Yogi Bhajan. His studies have included Kabbalah, Keys of Enoch, Alchemy, The Mayan Calandar, Sufism and various other religious, mystical and metaphysical teachings. This makes his sharing very diverse, unique and expansive. Akal is a veritable library of ancient knowlege and esoteric information. He is a wonderful guide and each tour with him is a Sacred Ceremony. His guided meditations at the vortex sites have been called profound and transformational. His drumming and chanting will transport you to a higher plane. Akal has been exploring the trails and back country of Sedona for a long while and always knows great places to visit for our Guided Hikes. Akal's knowledge of photography makes him a very useful and informative guide on our photography tours. Akal also teaches private meditation sessions and does our Soul Retrievals and Aura Clearing Sessions. Akal is also a gifted composer. Ayanvlideha Rick was born and raised as Aniyvwiya-“the principle people”, Cherokee in Oklahoma . She carries her traditional name Ayanvlideha “I am singing up the day” to honor her heritage and ancestors. Her father's mother is Brule' Sioux from Rosebud, SD. The family is from Cloud's Creek, Ok. a sacred traditional area for her people. Ayanvlideha has a BA. in Native American Studies, is an ordained minister and she also holds a clinical Herbology degree. She has 22 years experience in counseling and 26 years experience in many different media of traditional Art. In her art, counseling, and her writing she incorporates symbolism of color, numerology, and icons of native culture as led by Divine Creator. She is proficient in beadwork, herbs, leather, and wood. She works in relationship with all that is. “Everything that I do is bathed in prayer. I counsel with the Divine Creator, my ancestors, and the Spirit of what I am doing as I begin my work. Joseph Grey Wolf Rick was born and raised in Minnesota . He carries his traditional name Grey Wolf; in honor of the Old One's who walk with him. Because of his love for people and service, he has 20 years experience in counseling and 30 years experience in many different media of traditional art, where he teaches that which he holds dear to his heart – Love and Service. Joseph received his schooling in acupressure and massage therapy in Wisconsin. Through his art, counseling, massage therapy and writing, Joseph listens to Creator and his Spirit Helpers for guidance in all that he does.

Guiding you on your healthful healing path will be Chele Eades; the founder of Whole Living Resources; Chele began sharing with people the benefits of juicing 25 years ago. Encouraging others to eat whole raw foods, came naturally along with juicing, several years later discovering “Gourmet Raw” food preparation, she received her Chef certification from the renowned Living Light Culinary Arts Institute in Northern CA. Believing the earth provides all needed whole, raw foods, for our bodies to thrive on; Chele trained to become a Hallelujah Acres health minister to further her knowledge of how to present the concept, that our bodies can heal themselves when given the proper nutrition. Her program is called “The Full Circle”, in consultation many ideas are explored and resources discussed to make healthy choices for body, mind, and spirit as well as your surrounding environment.

Dr. David Ackerman, B.S., D.C. practices in Cornville (near Sedona), Arizona, utilizing herbology, homeopathy, color therapy and acupuncture as adjuncts to chiropractic. He has studied with George Goodheart, D.C. founder of kinesiology (muscle testing), Dr. John Christopher, herbalist; Dolores Krieger, founder of Therapeutic Touch; Dr. D. Versendaal, founder of Contact Reflex Analysis; and Dr. Scott Walker, founder of NET. Dr. Ackerman's training has led him to be uniquely qualified as a mind-body practitioner. He studied Reichian therapy, based on the work of Wilhelm Reich, M.D., a student of Sigmund Freud. Reich is considered the Father of Mind-Body Medicine and Body Centered Therapy. Dr. Ackerman continued his education by studying the neo-Reichian therapy, Core Energetics, with its founder, John Pierrakos, M.D., a student of Dr. Reich. Paul Ka'iwi Vincze's roots of healing and massage education stem back to his early childhood as he observed his father who was one of the main pioneers in the field. This coupled by his families strong belief in God positioned Paul to become a third generation energy worker. Paul understands that by clearing out stuck energies the body is then able to heal itself. To do this is simply a matter of opening to the flow of God's love. Paul graduated from the Touch Therapy Institute in Encino, CA in January 1999 and has continued to broaden his education ever since. In 2001 Paul created Crystal Use and Awareness and has been teaching this course at the Touch Therapy Institute and in Sedona, AZ. Crystal Use and Awareness is also offered on DVD. Paul received the name "Ka'iwi" (ka-eve-e) while studying Lomi Lomi in Hawaii with Karen Leialoha Carrol in 2002. The name Ka'iwi means "the keeper of the bones, the life force, of the ancestors." In the Hawaiian tradition your name expresses your inner gifts. When Paul works he calls upon the ancestors to assist in the healing session.

With a Masters in Education, she taught fifth grade for 10 years in New York and then ran a successful tutoring business in Florida for 7 years. After graduating from the massage and hydrotherapy program at the Arizona School of Integrative Studies she co- founded Stillpoint…Living in Balance, Inc. with her business partner Cynthia Brownley. Stillpoint…Living in Balance is committed to providing a sacred space that allows healing, growth, and wholeness to occur through bodywork and energetics. As a student of mind/body/holistic healing since 1983, stepping into massage therapy is a natural progression for Joy. The unique combination of working with children, many courses of study in the holistic field, seven years of clairvoyant/ energy training, and the journey through massage school set the ground for her new endeavor. This experience and background enables her to help facilitate healing in a grounded and natural way.

Cynthia became a Nationally Certified Massage therapist as a natural partnership with her seven years of Clairvoyant and energy training. With a Masters in Education, 11 years of teaching elementary school in New York and 7 years of co-running a successful tutoring business in Florida, she feels that her work with children has increased her sensitivity to the needs of others. This sensitivity enables her to select and apply the appropriate therapy for each of her clients. With her business partner Joy Musacchio, Cynthia is dedicated to creating an environment that is nurturing and safe, and provides the opportunity to rebalance, rejuvenate, and refocus. In addition to her National Certification and License in Massage Therapy and Bodywork, Cynthia holds certifications in Reflexology, LaStone Therapy, and Medicinal Aromatherapy ... working with essential oils since 1990. As a graduate of ASIS, she received full training in hydrotherapy, which she incorporates into her massage sessions.
